Insignia Productions is proud to celebrate the selection of co-founder, producer and director Grace Kahaki as a juror for the 2026 International Emmy Awards. The appointment places Grace among television professionals from around the world entrusted with evaluating outstanding international programming. The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences selects more than 1,000 independent jurors annually, representing diverse nationalities and areas of television expertise.

A Milestone for Kenyan Storytelling

Grace’s selection is an important personal achievement and another powerful moment for Kenya’s growing film and television industry. She joins Kenyan documentary filmmaker King Muriuki as a 2026 juror, while actor Paul Ogola previously served in 2022.

Reflecting on the experience, Grace said she was deeply honoured to contribute to conversations around excellence in global television, adding that “African storytellers continue to have an important voice on the world stage.”

Built on Years of Creative Excellence

Grace has spent more than 15 years producing and directing television and film through Insignia Productions alongside business partner Philippe Bresson. Her work includes acclaimed productions such as Single Kiasi, Chocolate Empire and the Netflix limited series Kash Money.

Her journey has been defined by ambitious African storytelling, strong creative leadership and a commitment to producing work that can compete on both local and international platforms.
