Philippe Bresson is a Kenyan director and producer and the co-founder and managing partner of Insignia Productions, the Nairobi-based production company. He began his career in 2007, working as both director and cinematographer at a time when experienced local crews were hard to find.

His breakthrough came with the drama series Changing Times, which won the Kalasha Award for Best TV Drama in 2010. He went on to direct, produce and showrun more than ten TV series, including Prem, Junior, Socialites and New Beginnings, which also aired in Nigeria and South Africa.

Together with Grace Kahaki, Philippe co-directed and co-produced Single Kiasi and The Chocolate Empire for Showmax, and Kash Money for Netflix. In 2026, Kash Money won five Kalasha Awards, including Best TV Drama and Best TV Drama Director, as well as Best Drama Series (East Africa) at the Zanzibar International Film Festival.

Alongside his series work, Philippe directs commercials and branded content for brands such as Google, Cartoon Network, Al Jazeera and Diamond Trust Bank.
